What data do we collect?

The AFMS collects the following data where you choose to supply it:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, location)
  • Other personal information supplied by you, such as your self rated level of language, membership status within our society etc.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide the AFMS with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

The AFMS may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • Through our sister organisation (Association Médicale Franco-Brittanique)

How will we use your data?

The AFMS collects your data so that we can:

  • Process any orders you place with us.
  • Contact you in line with your preferences regarding our events.

In some instances, and only if you explicitly agree, the AFMS will share your data with our members and members of the Association Médicale Franco-Brittanique.

In some circumstances, you may choose to make Payments to the AFMS through PayPal. Paypal will share your data with us in line with their own privacy policies. Confidential payment data is never shared.

Your data can be deleted upon your request. We will periodically make efforts to ensure the data we hold is up to date. Where we believe this is not the case we will delete your data.
