This course is a prequel to the fabulous annual course run in Lille each year. Aiming to provide a basis of knowledge for those hoping to improve their levels of medical French, each session creates an invaluable foundation for those planning to work or undertake electives in French-speaking countries.

Aim:

Our main aim is to provide an essential French medical vocabulary and the confidence to use it. We also provide an introduction for the in-person course and give you a small sneak peek at what is available in Lille.

Format:

The teaching programme relies on small group teaching and is led by experienced French speakers with medical roles. The content focuses on history taking, handovers, and other everyday communications within the clinical setting. We encourage active participation from all attendees and hope that you will all gain something from this online course.
